Welcome to the 2018-2019 School Year
A little about Mrs. Gleason
I have thrilled to be in my 19th year teaching. Most of that time has been right here at Bach School, where I have been teaching fourth grade. I love children and cannot think of a profession I would rather be doing! In my former career I was a geologist for 17 years, and I enjoy bringing my science background into the classroom.
My Family: I have two daughters, ages 22 and 26. One is an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan, and one is a Social Worker at an elementary school in Detroit. Both of them grew up in the Ann Arbor Public School System. My husband is a Research Professor in Geology at the University of Michigan.
My Education: I attended Oberlin College, where I received a B.A. in Geology, and Vanderbilt University where I received my M.S. in Geology. After my two children were born, I went back to school at the University of Arizona and Chapman University, and received my Teaching Certification.
